Abhisam’s popular course, the Certified Industrial Cybersecurity Professional (CICP) course has got updated with the new content, after the IEC 62443 standard structure got updated and newer parts were published and some older parts got revised. This makes the CICP course the most current and contemporary OT cybersecurity training course out there.
Updates to Certified Industrial Cybersecurity Professional in the year 2025
The updates have been rolled out and all learners who are enrolled in the course, as well as those who have already completed the course, but have a current license can view the updated modules. Specifically the IEC 62443 related modules have been updated with the following changes.
For example IEC 62443-2-1 has been completely revised. The earlier Edition 1 was all about the CSMS-Cyber Security Management System. Now this terms has been removed from the document entirely in the Second edition. Instead, it now talks about a “Security Program” (SP for short). There are several requirements that have to be part of the SP and these are called “elements”. Hence the requirements are now referred to as SPEs (Security Program Elements).
Similarly there have been other notable changes and all of these have been now incorporated into the CICP course.

How do I qualify as a CICP?
Simply take the course, complete all the modules and pass the exam. You will then qualify as a CICP and can start using the title- for example John Smith, CICP.
